Hey, LA's got a subway...

My take on it. It's pathetic.

The Ironic thing is that my dad and I used the subway to get to the Auto Show.

What the hell?
Someone even finds it tasteful to put phat chrome rims on a minivan.
The LA car culture is completely different from the East coast.
Most people here think of their cars as more functional than stylistic.
In LA you are what you drive.

Okay the page for Disneyland is done too...

My Adventures in La-la land continue.
Yesterday, I went to the happiest place on earth, where dreams really do come true.
Just $45 for the all day pass, plus parking. Food not included.

It's a racket everyone knows it. But alas despite the crowds, how can you not love the place, it's oh so compelling.

Arcadia is the mythological home of the Gods.
So it's only fitting that the Ang, the retired warrior should call Arcadia California his home.
Here's him preparing for his vacation

I'm so tired.

I keep pondering if I should go on a vacation, or even better yet, what I would do if I were to even go on a vacation.
Vacation is home for me. Simple enough. For me who's single and who enjoys enough the travel I've done in the past year. Why would I want to go somewhere. I've seen the inside of Semiconductor factories in Asia. I've worked on the automation. I understand much of the processing, and can argue the merits of crystallography, and SOI as good as anyone else. hmm... can't wait to go to Berghausen next month. First time in Europe, suburb of Munich, I guess I'll get a chance to see Austria too... Might be better than the alternative, which was Seoul. Although some people might like it better there.

I wonder if I'm stuck here for the rest of my life, or if I could imagine moving overseas. I keep thinking about Europe or Asia. Then, Kuala Lumpur keeps sounding even more interesting. I guess I'll have to go visit there in my time as well. I can't judge Malaysia from Johor. then again, there is the place I once called home. Which now I despise...

Anyways, Tired of my job, tired of wondering how long it'll be.

I've got a presentation on tuesday, which I should go over a few times before then. Alas...

why my male friends cook, and my female friends don't.

It's about the testosterone. About having all the right gadgets. Who doesn't relish the idea of a 35 quart stock pot. Anodized aluminum cookware. It's about the tools. when guys cook, it's in search of praise. Since women cook, it's expected. We're not turning things on it's side, it's normal, that both men and women cook.
