Wind, Water, Waves, Champagne...

It was a beautiful day in San Francisco.  Ah the Golden Gate, and the Presidio…

The best thing the army ever did to the city of San Francisco…  Put a base in the best part of it to keep the developers from, putting up houses there.

For hearty sailors, it looked like it might be a reasonable day.  The weather was looked calm and pleasant.  Of course even leaving in the morning some people  probably thought we were nuts.  Like this young fellow.

A new coat of varnish on the boat, the Juggernaut looked in good order.

Our captain hears it and says.

Most of my friends usually don’t ask to go sailing in the winter.  Rain or shine, wind or fair, bring lunch, bring desserts, bring champagne.

Wait that's not the captain, that's the first mate.

So it was a day for die hards.  A little bit rainy, a little bit wet.

Erika was in good spirits while on the dock.

Our fearless captain backed us out of the slip and we were on our way…

We raised the main and were off heading out of the Bay on a broad reach.

Wait… is that Arragon?  Oh no it’s just Mitch.  Guiding us out under the Golden Gate.

It’s not a good day sailing in the bay if you don’t make at least one person sick.

Here’s Terrence with the windblown nautica look.
