Food shopping - my stash of junk food. |
To be honest, if I'm looking for western snacks, it's not all that much cheaper than the US. Malaysian snacks on the other hand are much cheaper. And better, there was a hawker by the side of the road selling fried curried tuna fritters, tasty, 5 for 2 ringits (about 60 cents). So if you're interested here's the list of what I picked up (plus the two old chocolate bars) 1 bottle lime juice, 2 bottles tiger beer, 1 carton orange juice, 1 can of pringles, 2 cans of coffee, curried green peas, curried chick peas, kalan pilihan nuts (they also looked like peas), ritter mint chocolate bar (German), Droste 72% cacao extra dark chocolate pastilles (Dutch), Toblerone extra dark chocolate with honey and nouget (Swiss), and then there's the two somewhat melted partially eaten chocolate bars from the US.
